Self-taught, he began exhibiting in Turin, where he has lived and worked since the early nineties, and where he immediately acquired a leading position in the new scene of Italian figurative painting. His “Photographic Realism” has allowed him to take part in important individual and collective exhibitions around the world. In 2006 he took part in the Ninth Biennal of Havana invited by Antonio Zaya, in 2009 in the 53rd Venice Biennale and in 2016 was part of the third edition of the Kochi-Muzuris Biennale of Kerala.
