TAZIO KASTELIC (USA IT).jpg

TAZIO KASTELIC - The dual USA and Italian citizenship and the global scenario of information and inspiration has lead Tazio Kastelic (1997) on a rich and varied academic career which begins with the Albertina Academy of Fine Arts of Turin, (Bachelor’s and Master’s degree in Artistic Design for Industry) to Erasmus scholarships which led him to The Hungarian University of fine Arts (MKE) and The Faculty of Fine Arts of the University of Lisbon (FBAUL). Tazio Kastelic’s artistic curiosity is symbiotic to his other interests in anthropology, folklore and comparative religion. His artwork navigates the complexities between ancient and modern humans and their spiritual search for meaning. Often his work demands active participation on behalf of the viewer, engaging all six senses in an ever-evolving sensorial process that fosters ongoing exploration and discovery. His projects have earned recognition through awards and multiple exhibitions in Italy and Europe. The artist currently resides in Torino, Italy.
